Tekken 7 Season Pass 2 available September 6th with Anna, Lei and several gameplay updates

Tekken 7 goes to the next level with Season Pass 2!

A lot of information concerning Tekken 7 Season Pass 2 was just introduced at Tokyo Tekken Masters. First and foremost, Season Pass 2 becomes available for all platforms in just a few weeks on September 6, 2018. The cost will be 2800 yen (JPN), which is $25.34 USD. The expected price is around $26.99. On that day Lei Wulong and Anna Williams will become available, along with balance changes, new character moves, new mechanics/properties, new rage drives and more.

Not only will the new season pass will bring Anna, Lei and Negan from AMC’s The Walking Dead, but three other characters (potentially legacy characters) will also be joining the cast.

New Features Coming

Three features were highlighted that will be coming with Season Pass 2:

Easy Combo / Assist Mode

An easy combo / assist mode will be implemented for performing combos much more easily. This will work quite like it does within the story mode.

Rank Progress Tracker

A highly requested feature is finally being introduced, which is a new rank progress tracker that will show you who far away you are from a promotion or demotion. In addition, the point system is being changed to make things more competitive. Before, you only got a substantial amount of points by facing an opponent of the same rank, but this is being updated to allow ranks closer to each other, mainly one rank difference, to be awarded more points. As well, they are revamping the system so that players with higher ranks can more easily find matches.

Wall Bound (or Wall Bounce)

As seen in the trailer from Evo, a new ‘wall bound’ or ‘wall bounce’ mechanic will be introduced.

For those who do not wish to purchase Season Pass 2, the characters will also be available individually for purchase for around $5 USD.

Here is the video shown at Tokyo Tekken Masters that showcases the new mechanics and moves characters will receive on September 6.
