Kkokkoma defeats Qudans with Noctis six rounds straight at ThaigerUppercut 2018
What is the consensus on Noctis as a character?
Noctis Lusic Caelum just came out and the question has been just how viable is he within high level tournament gameplay. Well, Tekken World Tour challenger event ThaigerUppercut 2018 is currently taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, and South Korea’s Kkokkoma used him against the current Tekken 7 World Champion, UYU’s Qudans. The result was a surprising six rounds straight, even with Qudans using Devil Jin, a character believed to be the best in the game.
To be fair, Noctis is new and many players have yet to learn the matchup, so Qudans certainly gets a pass in this regard. You could tell he wasn’t familiar with some (or all) of Noctis’ moves. But the question some are asking is this, “should a new character like Noctis be allowed in tournament so early?” He’s only days old.
So apparently, Kkokkoma used Noctis in Thaiger Uppercut. I realize that there's no rule in the TWT about using new characters this early, but should there be one?

Lastly, is Noctis good? Some pro players like Redbull’s Anakin have said he is the “best character in the game,” while others like UYU’s Fergus have been noted as saying he is “trash.” What are your thoughts on the newest cast member from Final Fantasy XV?
