Echo Fox signs Tekken powerhouses JDCR and Saint
Today the Tekken community received a huge vote of confidence as it relates to it entering the ranks of eSports. Echo Fox, the eSports imprint owned by NBA legend Rick Fox, has announced that they have acquired two of the worlds best Tekken players, those being Cho ‘Saint’ Jinwoo and Kim ‘JDCR’ HyunJin of Korea.

The pair are no strangers to the Tekken community, as they are both well beloved and their tournament resumes speak for themselves. Saint is the current EVO 2016 Champion, as well as the 2016 King of the Iron Champion. JDCR has won multiple tournaments all around the world, and is probably the most traveled Tekken player-ever. His most recent success includes back to back season wins of Tekken 7FR VSL The Fist, EVO 2014, Final Round 17 and 18, and more. He’s truly an international star.
In speaking to theScore eSports, Echo Fox owner Rick Fox had this to say “When we expanded our fighting game team last month we did it knowing that it was only the first step towards becoming a dominating force in the fighting game community. By signing the two of the best Tekken players in the world, Saint and JDCR, we’re moving closer to that goal.”
This is just one more confirmation that 2017 is indeed the year Tekken will officially enter into eSports, and you can certainly one of these two to bring home the trophy for Echo Fox.
