Comic Con San Diego is underway and today from 1pm-2pm PDT Bandai Namco Entertainment held a special Tekken 7 panel to talk to fans about what new developments and merchandise are coming for the game. In attendance to address the audience were Tekken developers Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray, and Mark “MarkMan” Julio facilitated. Special guest, Eric Jacobus, also joined the panel. Things that were covered:

  • Sneak peak and more details about Master Raven and Bob
  • How Akuma was developed and integrated into Tekken 7
  • A behind the scenes look at the development tools used in Tekken 7
  • New merchadise now available – Limited Edition Tekken Sukajan Heihachi Jacket
  • Additional Tekken merchandise soon to be available online
  • Remaining Tekken Tour dates and those who have qualified so far
  • 20th Anniversary of Soul Calibur

They also gave out Tekken Bryan t-shirts to all in attendance. That’s pretty much it in a nutshell. The highlight of the day had to have been the Heihachi Sukajan jackets though. It looks great, coming with a price tag of $449.00. That’s not a typo. Here are the details of the jacket:

  • Limited Edition and numbered
  • Luxurious satin charmeuse with net pockets
  • Reversible designs
  • Intricate embroidery on front, back and sleeves
  • Available in S, M, L, XL, and XXL
  • Shipping begins Winter 2016

Yes, this is a 2-in-1 jacket, not two separate ones. Pretty cool, hunh? You can pre-order it now by visiting bandainamcoentstore.com. Take a look at some pictures, including the jackets.
