Cody ‘KoDee’ Adam signs with Broken Alliance Gaming as Tekken 7 player

Tekken has definitely entered into eSports. Players are being signed to professional eSports teams right and left, and it’s great to see. Anakin and Speedkicks were signed to deals with Circa eSports, and now Cody ‘KoDee’ Adam has found himself a home as well – being signed to Broken Alliance Gaming.

Kodee, a North American player from Viera, Florida, is overwhelmingly hailed by many to be the best Mishima player in America.

Some of his most recent placements within the last year are:

  • 4th at CEO 2016 | Tekken 7
  • 5th at KIT 2016 | Tekken 7
  • 1st at KIT 2016 | Tekken Tag Tournament 2
  • 5th at NEC 16 | Tekken 7
  • 2nd at NEC 16 | Tekken Tag Tournament 2

When asked to provide an introduction KoDee shared “Greetings. I’ve been a gamer all my life and always had a special draw toward fighting games. However, when I heard there was an actual competitive scene for video games, I laughed and thought it was an absurd idea. Like the majority of people, you’ll find in the world, I thought it sounded ridiculous and again laughed when someone offered to help hone my natural fighting game abilities for a tournament. Now, after being introduced to the real competition and the real community, I’ve become one of the most traveled players in the history of American Tekken. I’ve competed throughout the United States as well as internationally. It’s safe to say I’m addicted to the competitive scene and am thankful for all it’s given me. I’m excited to be in the very first wave of Tekken players to wear the “BxA” tag and am ready to see it in FGC news headlines as we fight to dominate the competition. Come say hi if you see me out there — in the U.S. or throughout the world!”

We’re excited to work with KoDee, for the release of Tekken 7 and to watch him compete.

Thank you #BxAFam for all of your support

His first experience with Tekken was in the early 90's, and it was Tekken 3 that sealed the deal. True story... As a teenager Zee once received his Winn-Dixie paycheck and spent it all at the arcade the same day. Needless to say, his mother wasn't pleased.
