Harada and Mortal Kombat’s co-creator Ed Boone share thoughts on making Tekken X Mortal Kombat
While at E3 Hip Hop Gamer of Hot 97 caught up with Ed Boon, co-creator of Mortal Kombat, for an interview. He shared with Boon that he talked with Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada about the idea of a Tekken x Mortal Kombat game. Harada thought that there were several factors that possibly keep it from happening, and that being mainly the fatalities and gruesomeness of the game. Imagine Lili having her head decaptiated? Not a pretty site. Without knowing Harada’s take on it, Boon’s thoughts were actually the same. Check out Harada’s interview first (which took place back in April in Santa Clara, CA at Bandai Namco USA), and then the most recent on with Boon from E3.
