Tekken 7 nominated for multiple awards at E3, wins ‘Best Fighting Game’ Award

Like MarkMan has been saying lately, “it’s a great time to be a Tekken fan!” Tekken 7 had a such great showing at E3 this year that it has been trending on Twitter and Facebook. From Day 0 to Day 3 the hype was confirmed as real and hasn’t let up.  While announcing and showcasing games is the biggest part of E3, there are also some accolades passed out as well.

Tekken 7 was nominated for quite a few awards at this year’s E3. Some of them were:

  • GameInformer Best in Show 2016
  • CGM Best of Show Award
  • HardcoreGamer Best of E3 2016
  • GamersPack Choice of the Pack
  • PlayStation Universe Best Fighting Game
  • and more…

According to the PlayStation Universe Twitter, Tekken 7 actually did win the award. They may have won some of the others, but we have no info on them.

Congrats Harada-san, Michael, the Tekken team, and all of the fans! #WeAreTekken

His first experience with Tekken was in the early 90's, and it was Tekken 3 that sealed the deal. True story... As a teenager Zee once received his Winn-Dixie paycheck and spent it all at the arcade the same day. Needless to say, his mother wasn't pleased.
