E3 2016: MarkMan tells PlayStation Blog that Akuma has more ‘Tekken-like’ moves in Tekken 7
We all should know that E3 is taking place in Los Angeles by now. Bandai Namco and Tekken team members are present and doing media blitz’s here and there. Here’s the latest, which is Mark “MarkMan” Julio sitting with PlayStation Blog to talk about the ins and outs of Tekken 7. One thing he tells the host is that Akuma has a ton of new moves that are very Tekken-like. He made mention of this and more in a few Twitter posts a few days ago as well. He also stated that there are new characters still to come. Take a look.
“There are still characters that we are working on that we have not announced yet” – MarkMan
Akuma has so many new moves and his movement is faster. He is definitely a much better character now than we've seen.

He can special cancel his WS+1 now. He had a f,f,f+1 pressure move. He can do a just frame f,f+2:1 that is mid into flaming Shakunetsu stuff

Also rage attack is now rage drive and they have been modified to be easier to use input wise! @TEKKEN

One thing is for sure. As a pure @TEKKEN fan. I'm really happy with what @Harada_TEKKEN @mykeryu & team has done with the look & feel of T7!

Now that Akuma has 1,1 and d/f+1,1 pressure tools. It makes his d+3 into tatsu more viable & improves his mid game. So much fun!
