L-train wins free trip to Red Bull Conquest kickoff in Chicago, IL

High Score eSports looked for best in Detroit at Red Bull Conquest Rise event.

High Score eSports held an event called Red Bull Conquest Rise this past Saturday, April 6th, to find the best fighting game players in Detroit. First-place winners in TEKKEN 7, Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition and Guilty Gear Xrd REV2 received round trip airfare, hotel accommodations and free entry into Red Bull Conquest’s first event in Chicago, IL on April 28th.

38 competitors showed up for TEKKEN 7, including Lennell ‘L-train’ Dinkins (HZRDS), iHai, Azure,  MRALLCAPS, Footwurk, StayRealChill and more. The full bracket and standings can be viewed on smash.gg.

In the end it came down to a long and grueling grand finals between L-train and iHai, where L-train was able to reset the bracket in a final match, and ultimately win it all in a final match situation as well. If you missed the action, you can check it all out in the playlist above, including grand finals.
