Tekken 7 nominated for ‘Best Fighting Game’ in IGN’s Best of 2017 awards

It’s award season and Tekken 7 is being nominated all over.

Being that 2017 is coming to a close, it is award season for sure. Not only is Tekken 7 up for an award for ‘Best Fighting Game’ with The Game Awards, but now IGN has nominated for ‘Best Fighting Game’ of 2017 along with the titles Absolver, Arms, For Honor, Injustice 2, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, Nidhogg 2 and Pokkén Tournament DX. Games can also be written in.

In their review of Tekken 7, IGN stated, “Tekken 7 truly is a hallmark, a fighting game crafted with obvious affection. It strikes a fine balance between accessibility to series newcomers and retaining much of its technical traditions. The soundtrack is an electronic treat, and while the story can at times seem a bit cliche, the fact that it never takes itself too seriously lets it bring in a tremendous amount of flexible character customization.”
