Japanese Tekken player Shudy Jinlee signs with esports team InTheSkies LLC

ITS signs their first international team member.

Japanese Tekken player Shudy Jinlee has signed a sponsorship deal with InTheSkies LLC, an esports team based out of Las Vegas, NV. This makes the first international signing for the organization.

Shudy is a very notable figure within the Tekken community, known for working at Namco Sugamo arcade and instrumental in organizing many Tekken events in Japan. Traditionally a Jin and Lee player, Shudy most recently participated at EVO 2017 where he tied for 33rd place.

InTheSkies first made the announcement on their Twitter.

Shudy also shared remarks about his signing on Twitter.

[ #SpreadingDesire ] I am now a member of overseas esports team @InTheSkiesLLC. I am very happy that you can support my various activities. “ITS | SHUDY” Thank you very much in the future!

This is a welcomed addition to InTheSkies, as several of their team members – P.Ling, Kawaii, 725, Yanflip, WayGamble, Joey Fury and Spero Gin – recently become free agents, some even finding new homes. Many have expressed how ITS was a gracious stepping stone for them and that they were appreciative of the opportunity and support, but now they are open to entertaining other sponsorship opportunities.

InTheSkies still has some great Tekken talent. Shudy will be joining the ITS ranks with Lil Majin, Jackie Tran, MYK, Kane, CuddleCore, MakNificent and several others.

We look forward to seeing what the future brings. For more information visit intheskies.us.

His first experience with Tekken was in the early 90’s, and it was Tekken 3 that sealed the deal. True story… As a teenager Zee once received his Winn-Dixie paycheck and spent it all at the arcade the same day. Needless to say, his mother wasn’t pleased.
