Tekken 7 doubles its registration numbers for EVO 2017 with over 1,000 entrants

Get ready for the world’s biggest Tekken 7 tournament!

The Tekken 7 news just keeps getting better and better. Earlier today Mark ‘MarkMan’ Julio, global business developer for EVO and Tekken branding & community advisor for Bandai Namco, shared on Facebook that the registration numbers for Tekken 7 have surpassed 1,000. That’s an amazing feat. This doubles what the numbers were last year, standing at just 543 registrants.

EVO CEO, Joey Cuellar, also tweeted the news, saying that this is the first time Tekken has had over 1000 entrants.

The deadline for competitors to register is Friday, June 30th 11:59pm PDT! Do so at evo.shoryuken.com.
