A step-by-step guide to obtaining the platinum trophy and 1000G achievements in Tekken 7

A guide for unlocking all of the trophies in Tekken 7.

Obtaining the Platinum “I’ll Get Everything Back!” trophy or the 1000G in Tekken 7 should be an easy task for someone used to playing Tekken. Even for beginners it should not be impossible with a little practice. However, the tasks that can be challenging for some people are online wins, the bosses, or facing Devil Kazumi, Devil Kazuya and Shin Akuma in Story Mode. All of the trophies can be obtained in roughly 10 hours, depending on the skill level of the player.

Here’s a breakdown of all trophies and how to obtain them.

Yeah! I did it!

Won a ranked match online: Simply win one online match, or through a Match list you can look for a friend to be sure you play with someone at your level.

Not Bad

Won a player match online: Same as before, but this time you can Create Session to pair up against a friend and avoid matchmaking.

Okay! I’m ready

Won a battle in online tournament: Quick Tournament and Search Tournament are both fine, but with Create Tournament you can play with friends again and make things faster.

Come and Get Some I Dare you!

Fought ten battles online: Simplier done than explained, just play 10 matches without caring about winning or losing.

Instant annihilation

Won three times consecutively in Treasure Battle: At the beginning the cpu is really easy to beat, so just choose a character you feel comfortable with and play.

Wow, I’m pretty strong

Special matches are random fights that occur in Treasure Battle. They are not the ones with special conditions like double damage or max speed, but rather boss-fights introduced by a portrait of the character. Usually the boss is Kazumi or Akuma, but also Jin pops up for a special match. The count for special matches doesn’t reset if you quit and continue later or if you lose and start again or if you switch a character, so feel free to play as you wish. Take note that usually the special match starts randomly but there are major chances after gaining a winning streak of 10 or 15.

You think you’re tougher than me?

Finished the prologue of the main story: Self explained, just play with kid Kaz until the cut-scene starts.

Let’s do this

Finished chapter 1 of the main story: This will unlock as you progress through the story. Remeber to use the simplified input for special attack or play at easy difficulty if you are not familiar with Tekken, since the final fights may be hard for someone not accustomed.

You challenge me?!

Finished chapter 8 of the main story: For beating Akuma beware of his Hadoken and use often the side step to dodge and counter him.

I can’t accept this fate

Finished chapter 13 of the main story: Kazumi will be the first boss really agressive. At the very beginning of the round quickly perform a side step to dodge her laser and start the match with more energy, otherwise Heihachi will be shot and you’ll begin with a handicap. Pay attention to her “missile” move, which has to be dodged with a side step, then rush towards her and hit her right after she’s landed. In the end Kazumi will charge her Rage art, hit her as fast as you can and then a quick time event will occurr, allowing Heihachi to perform a counter and win the match.

It’s time for you to meet your end

Watched the epilogue of the main story: The final fight against Kazuya will be quite challenging if you don’t know how to counter the Devil Mishima. When he’s charging the red laser beam, crouch immediately or dodge if he’s attacking from above. In the final phase of the fight Heihachi will be left with less energy but more endurance, anyway it’s really important to counter fast and choose the right moves, otherwise any wrong move will be countered back. Don’t attack relentless, expecially if Kazuya got his rage art, but abuse of the axe kick (down+left kick) when the enemy is on the ground.

I demand to know the truth!

Finished three character episode stories: From the story menu, select the right page and choose three characters, it’s quite simple because it’s just one enemy to beat without special conditions.

Lightning of fate

Finished 10 character episode stories: From the story menu, select the right page and choose ten characters, it’s quite simple because it’s just one enemy to beat without special conditions.

No Pain, No Gain

Dealt 50,000 damage in Practice mode: This should pop by itself while practicing with many characters, it doesn’t have to be done in one sit.

Cool!

Obtained 20 treasure boxes: Every victory in Treasure Battle grants one or more boxes. There is no need to count the boxes since you’ll get definitely more than 50 during the road to the rank of Warrior.

I’ve finally found you!

Obtained 50 treasure boxes: Same as Cool!, just play Treasure Battle to obtain new boxes.

The prosperous Inevitably Decline

Beat Akuma in an Arcade Battle or a Special Match in Treasure Battle: Usually Akuma is the boss in Arcade mode, however it’s easy to fight against him while going for the special matches during the Treasure Battle. You’ll get definitely more than 3 special battles while fighting for the rank of Warrior. If you can’t win on the first attempt go to Arcade mode to face him, so you can continue.

Fear my wrath

Beat Devil Kazumi in an Arcade Battle or a Special Match in Treasure Battle: Sometimes Devil Kazumi is the boss in arcade mode, however it’s easy to fight her while going for the special matches during the treasure battle. You’ll get definitely more than 3 special battles while fighting for the rank of Warrior. If you can’t win on the first attempt go to Arcade mode to face her, so you can continue.

It’s Just Business

Obtained an overall total of 5,000,000G: During the release of Tekken 7 you will obtain 3,000,000g just at the beginning of the game. Another 3 millions are given for completing the Story mode. You get also another million every time you clear a mode for the first time (like Arcade mode). You can spend the money, since the game counts the cumulative and not the total. Farm the rest by playing online or Treasure Battle

Excellent

Obtained an overall total of 10,000,000G: During the release of the game you will obtain 3,000,000g just at the beginning of the game. Another 3 millions are given for completing the story mode. You get also another million every time you clear a mode for the first time (like arcade mode). You can spend the money, since the game counts the cumulative and not the total. Farm the rest by playing online or Treasure Battle

Master Of Iron Fist

Finished the Special Chapter of the main story: After finishing the Story a new chapter can be selected from the menù. Here you need to fight a more powerfull version of Akuma. He can shoot 3 Hadoken at time now, so side step is really necessary to counter and avoid damage. At the end of the match he will perform his Raging Demon art and the only way to counter it now is use the rage art of Kazuya, simply by pressing the shortcut or executing the move.

He’s a long-time Tekken player ever since someone told him, “Hey dude, there’s a new arcade in town,” back in 1995. After working as journalist in Italy for some time, he realized he wrote about everything, but rarely about games. Because he always plays games at “hard” difficulty, the choice to bring the same principle while treating about video games drove him to write in English even though he’s Italian.
