Let’s thank Harada, Michael, Tekken Team for making Tekken 7 – Win our Tekken Giveaway

Ladies and gentlemen, we are exactly 30 days away from the worldwide release of Tekken 7 on June 2nd. Can you believe it? I don’t think any other gaming community has learned the virtue of patience like we have because it has truly been a long, emotional and grueling road. But that’s all behind us now.

It hasn’t only been that way for Tekken fans though. Can you imagine what Tekken project director Katsuhiro Harada and game designer Michael Murray have had to endure these last 3-4 years? Probably not. But now is not the time to go into it. Now is a time to celebrate!

We’ve seen how Tekken 7 has developed over the years. From Tekken 7 Vanilla to Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, to Tekken 7 – we’ve seen the various stages of development the game has gone through, and in its final form, it simply looks amazing. Harada-san and Michael have done their absolute best to deliver a complete product that Tekken fans will love and enjoy for many years to come.

Saying ‘Thank You’

As a site dedicated to Tekken, we wanted to come up with a cool way that allowed Tekken fans worldwide to show their love, support and appreciation for Harada and Michael for all of the hard work they’ve put into making Tekken 7 a great game. It was truly a labor of blood, sweat, and tears.

RECORD A QUICK VIDEO

This is what we’ve come up with. Simply record a quick video of yourself saying “thank you” to Harada and Michael and send it to us. The video should be no longer than seven (7) seconds. You can even record it with your phone (it doesn’t matter if it’s landscape or portrait either). We’re not looking for stellar quality, so it’s all good.

Here are some ideas of things you can say (or any variation of):

  • Thank you, Harada!
  • Thanks Harada and Michael!
  • Thanks guy, we love you!
  • Thank you for Tekken 7 guys!
  • Thank you Harada, Michael and Tekken project team!
  • Tekken 7 looks awesome! Thanks Harada and Michael!

Something along those lines. You can say whatever you want actually, but it should be in some form of thanks.

SEND US YOUR VIDEO

Because your video will only be a few seconds long, the file size will be small enough for you to attach to an email and send to us without any problems. Try not to reduce any quality of it if you can. Also, please do not add any text or effects to it. Lastly, make sure you have adequate lighting (nothing professional; we just need to see your face).

You can email your video to [email protected].

WIN OUR GIVEAWAY

For those who send us a video, you are automatically entered into our giveaway where you could win a Marshall Law Tekken t-shirt, and a Tekken 7 poster, courtesy of Bandai Namco Entertainment (UK) and MBA Gaming.

* Size of shirt is a Large.

STRIKE A POSE

While you’re at it, why now not strike Harada’s classic “fight pose” when saying your thanks? All you have to do is hold a fist up. An example of what that looks like is below. You can smile though. 🙂

MAY 30TH DEADLINE

We will be using your videos to put together a very special project, so please send it to us no later than Tuesday, May 30th. We will reveal what we’ve done with it on June 2nd, the same day Tekken 7 releases. We look forward to seeing what you do!
